RELATIONSHIPS IN THE BIOCOENOSIS.
Intraspecific relationships.
Occur between individuals of the same species that enable them to better care for their offspring, defend themselves from predators or find food.
· Colonial associations: Formed by individuals that have the same progenitors and that remain together throughout their lives.

· Family associations: Composed of individuals who are related to one another.

· Social associations:
Are made up of individuals that form a hierarchy and organize a division of labour |
· Gregarious associations: Formed by individuals, not necessarily related to each other, that come together for a specific purpose.
